About

I’ve loved computers since I realised that a single PC was enough to build big things. My head is always full of projects, and I like turning them into something real.

I started studying computer science at a technical high school, and in 2018, still a student, I was already working inside a company: an internship at Forensis-Lab, writing data recovery tools for digital forensics. Since then I’ve graduated in Pisa and built software for clients. What I like most comes before the code: talking with the people who asked for it until the real problem shows up. I like to experiment, and most of what’s on this page started as a problem I ran into myself. One day I’d like one of these ideas to grow into something of my own.

    Mobile Software Engineer Intern

    Famalabs

Health-tech company. Meditype is their platform for collecting clinical data from patients.

I built the patient side of Meditype on mobile: an app where patients fill in clinical questionnaires, follow their therapies and keep a diary of how they feel. The work became my bachelor’s thesis.

    • Ported the questionnaire engine to React Native. Each survey is a JSON document rendered at runtime, so I rebuilt the UI layer on top of the company’s shared survey library instead of rewriting its logic.
    • Built the therapy screens (daily and cyclic plans, adherence), the diary for symptoms, vital signs and mood, and push notifications with quick actions.
    • Connected the app to the REST backend with RTK Query, typed against the OpenAPI spec. Forms run on react-hook-form with Zod validation, covered by Jest tests.
    • Built the AI assistant: a Mistral model behind an Expo API route that calls tools to open the right screen and prefill a log entry. By design it never makes a clinical decision.
    • Explained what the assistant could and could not do to non-technical stakeholders.

    Midable S.r.l.for Okidoki Secondhand

Digital agency. The end client, Okidoki, sells second-hand goods on consignment.

I proposed the project, then worked directly with Okidoki to gather requirements and iterate on their feedback. The app lets the people who bring items to the shop see what is in stock, what has sold and what they have earned.

    • Built the whole frontend on my own, from the design mockups to iOS and Android apps, with Nuxt and Capacitor.
    • Connected the screens to the backend database through REST APIs and SQL queries.

Logiquo is Pentaqo’s web app for running certification processes such as ISO standards.

I built the first version of Logiquo: studied how the certification work actually runs, turned it into screens, and connected them to the backend services and the database.

Logiquo websiteI worked on the first version only. The product has changed a lot since.
