Who is responsible
Mirco Bochicchio runs this website as a private individual and is the data controller. You can write to mircobochicchio1@gmail.com about anything on this page.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It has no analytics, no advertising, no social-media widgets and no forms, so there is nothing to consent to and no cookie banner.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel Inc. Like every web server, Vercel receives your IP address, browser details and the pages you request, and keeps them in technical logs for a limited time to deliver the site and keep it secure. I do not use these logs to identify you. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). Vercel may process this data outside the EU, under the safeguards described in its own data processing terms.
Fonts and images
Fonts are downloaded when the site is built and served from this same domain, so your browser never contacts Google or any font provider. All images and videos are served from this domain too.
YouTube videos
Some project pages offer a YouTube video. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. After that, your browser connects to YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google may receive your IP address and may store data on your device, under Google’s privacy policy. If you prefer not to, do not press play.
GitHub
The list of other projects is fetched from GitHub’s public API by the server, not by your browser, so GitHub does not see you. No personal data of visitors is involved.
Email and CV
If you email me, I use your address and message only to reply, and delete the conversation when it is no longer needed. The CV you can download contains my own contact details, which I chose to publish. Links to GitHub, LinkedIn and other sites lead to services with their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask me for access to, correction or deletion of your data, and object to its processing. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
